Culminating activity #4

Portfolio

3 best photos I have taken during this course.

During this course, I really liked how we were allowed to be very creative with our photos. I also liked how we were allowed to leave the class and take photos outside of the classroom. I really enjoyed doing the pinhole photography project, and taking portraits with different lightings and angles.

In this class I wish we had used the cameras more. Also, sometimes the computers would be very frustrating (I know that’s not your fault) but it would have been a lot better if the computers worked a bit better.

In this course I learned so much that will help me with my future photo-taking. I learned about things like ISO, aperture and shutter speed that I didn’t even know about before. I also learned about the different composition guidelines like; simplicity, rule of thirds, framing, balance and lines. Before I took this course I didn’t even know those existed. One of my favourite things about this class was how we got to go in the camera obscura and see how an image was projected through a small hole. During this course we had to write about ‘what life would be like without photography’. By writing about this, I learned how different like would be like without photography, and how it has shaped and changed the world.
